Christ's Victory at Calvary is a central and profound event in Christian belief and biblical history, symbolizing Christ's ultimately powerful sacrifice and triumph over sin, death, Hell, and ALL evil. Colossians 2:14-15 (KJV) Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. Here's an overview:
The Crucifixion is one of the central and biblically historical events ever, and it’s the cornerstone of Christian faith. It refers to the execution of Jesus Christ (Yashaya) by being nailed to a wooden cross, a Roman method of punishment usually reserved for criminals, rebels, and slaves. Let me break this down for you clearly:
1. The Background
- Christ was arrested in Jerusalem after being betrayed by Judas Iscariot (Matthew 26:47–56).
- He was tried before the Jewish council (Sanhedrin), then handed over to the Roman governor, Pontius Pilate, who reluctantly gave the order for crucifixion after pressure from the crowd (John 19:12–16).
- The Roman soldiers mocked Him, beat Him excessively, and placed a crown of thorns on His head (Matthew 27:27–31).
2. The Crucifixion
- Christ was led to a hill outside Jerusalem called Golgotha (Calvary) (John 19:17).
- He was nailed through His hands and feet to a wooden cross.
- Above Him, Pilate placed a sign: “Jesus of Nazareth, the King of the Jews” (John 19:19).
- As He hung there, soldiers cast lots for His clothing (Psalm 22:18 fulfilled).
- Two criminals were crucified beside Him, one mocking, the other repenting and asking to be remembered (Luke 23:39–43).
3. The Spiritual Significance
- Christ bore the sins of the world on the cross (Isaiah 53:4–6).
- His sacrifice was the fulfillment of prophecy and the new covenant, replacing the old system of animal sacrifices with His perfect offering once and for all (Hebrews 10:10–12).
- His death reconciled mankind to God, making salvation possible for everyone (Romans 5:8–10).
4. The Death of Jesus, (Yashaya)
- After hours of suffering, Jesus cried out, “It is finished” (John 19:30), meaning the work of His redemption was complete.
- At His death:
- The veil of the Temple tore in two (Matthew 27:51), symbolizing direct access to God.
- The earth shook, rocks split, and graves opened (Matthew 27:52–53).
- A Roman centurion declared, “Truly this was the Son of God” (Matthew 27:54).
5. Burial and Resurrection
- Christ's body was placed in the tomb of Joseph of Arimathea (John 19:38–42).
- On the third day, He rose from the dead, defeating sin, death, Hell, and the devil (Luke 24:6–7).
- The resurrection confirmed His identity as the Son of God and the Messiah.

Today, I enforce the victory of Calvary over my spirit, soul, and body. I enforce the victory of Calvary over my household, my health, my finances, and my destiny. 2 Samuel 23:12 (KJV)

Under the Power and Authority of Christ do I VOID all satanic and demonic intentions and I command all satanic and demonic plots, plans, schemes, covenants, and powers to be shattered Right Now by the power of Christ, His Light, the cross, and the Blood of Yashaya.
I decree and I declare that I am seated with Christ Yashaya in heavenly places, far above ALL powers of Darkness. Ephesians 5:11 I continue to walk in dominion, authority, and victory. 2 Samuel 23:12 (KJV), Philippians 4:13 (KJV).
From this day forward, I live as more than a Conqueror, because Yashaya conquered for me at Calvary. His victory is final, and His victory is mine. Surely, I gladly take my Place. Joshua 24:15
