Here's a delicious recipe for a Double Cheeseburger ๐Ÿ” with Seasoned Potato Wedges ๐ŸŸ that’s juicy, cheesy, and packed with flavor — perfect for a satisfying meal!


๐Ÿ” Double Cheeseburger Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb (450g) ground beef (80/20 for juiciness)
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • 4 slices cheddar or American cheese
  • 4 burger buns (preferably brioche or sesame)
  • Butter (for toasting buns)
  • Lettuce, tomato slices, pickles, red onion (optional)
  • Ketchup, mustard, mayo (as desired)

Instructions:

  1. Form Patties

    • Divide ground beef into 4 equal balls and flatten into thin patties (slightly wider than your buns).
    • Season both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. Cook the Patties

    • Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Add a touch of oil.
    • Cook patties 2–3 minutes per side.
    • In the last minute, place a slice of cheese on each patty and cover to melt.
  3. Toast the Buns

    • Spread butter on cut sides of buns.
    • Toast on the skillet or grill until golden brown.
  4. Assemble the Burger

    • Bottom bun + sauce of choice + 1 cheesy patty + toppings (lettuce, tomato, etc.) + 2nd cheesy patty + more sauce + top bun.

๐ŸŸ Crispy Seasoned Potato Wedges

Ingredients:

  • 3 large russet potatoes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • Salt, to taste
  • Chopped parsley (for garnish, optional)

Instructions:

  1. Prep Potatoes

    • Wash and cut potatoes into thick wedges.
    • Soak in cold water for 20–30 minutes (removes starch = crispier wedges), then pat dry.
  2. Season & Bake

    • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
    • Toss wedges in oil and seasonings until well coated.
    • Spread on a baking sheet (don’t overcrowd).
    • Bake 35–40 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
  3. Serve

    • Sprinkle with extra salt or chopped parsley.
    • Serve hot with ketchup, ranch, or spicy mayo.

Pro Tip: Want it next-level? Add crispy bacon to the burger or top the wedges with grated Parmesan right out of the oven!
