Here’s a fun and delicious recipe for Teddy Bear Cupcakes that are perfect for any occasion. Enjoy making these CUTIE treats!


# Teddy Bear Cupcakes


 Ingredients


For the Cupcakes:

- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour

- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

- 1/4 teaspoon salt

- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

- 1 cup granulated sugar

- 2 large eggs

- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

- 1 cup buttermilk


For the Buttercream Frosting:

- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened

- 4 cups powdered sugar

- 1/4 cup heavy cream

- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

- Cocoa powder (for coloring, optional)


For Decoration:

- Mini chocolate cookies (like Oreos or mini chocolate wafers)

- Chocolate chips (for eyes)

- Brown or black M&M's or candy melt discs (for noses)

- Optional: edible glitter or sprinkles


 Instructions


1. Preheat the Oven:

   Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with cupcake liners.


2. Make the Cupcake Batter:

   - In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

   - In a separate large bowl, cream the softened butter and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy.

   - Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

   - Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with the buttermilk, until everything is just combined.


3. Bake the Cupcakes:

   Divide the batter evenly among the cupcake liners, filling each about 2/3 full. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let cool completely on a wire rack.


4. Prepare the Buttercream Frosting:

   - In a large bowl, beat the softened butter until smooth. Gradually add the powdered sugar, mixing well until combined.

   - Add the heavy cream and vanilla extract, and beat until light and fluffy. For a chocolate buttercream, you can mix in cocoa powder to your desired color and taste.


5. Frost the Cupcakes:

   Once the cupcakes are completely cooled, frost them generously with the buttercream using a spatula or a piping bag.


6. Create Teddy Bear Faces:

   - Take a mini chocolate cookie and place it on top of each frosted cupcake as the head.

   - For the eyes, place two chocolate chips on the cookie.

   - For the nose, place a brown or black M&M or a candy melt disc just below the eyes.

   - If desired, you can add optional edible glitter or sprinkles around the edges of the frosting for extra fun.


7. Serve and Enjoy:

   Your adorable Teddy Bear Cupcakes are ready to be enjoyed! They are perfect for parties, picnics, or a fun dessert at home.
