Here's a simple and elegant recipe for a vanilla cake with vanilla frosting, topped with an edible Holy Bible and caramel candy decorations:

Vanilla Cake with Vanilla Frosting & Edible Holy Bible and Caramel Decorations 

Ingredients:

For the Vanilla Cake:
- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 2 ½ teaspoons baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup whole milk

For the Vanilla Frosting:
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2-3 tablespoons milk

Decorations:
- Edible Holy Bible decoration (available at specialty baking stores or online)
- Caramel candies (such as squares or small caramel disks for melting and sculpting to the cake)
- Optional: edible gold dust or sprinkles for added flair

Instructions:

1. Bake the Vanilla Cake:
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 8-inch round cake pans.
2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
3. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter and sugar until creamy.
4. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
5. Gradually add the dry ingredients, alternating with milk, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients. Mix until smooth.
6. Divide batter evenly between the prepared pans and smooth the tops.
7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
8. Let the cakes cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

2. Prepare the Vanilla Frosting:
1. Beat the softened butter until creamy.
2. Gradually add powdered sugar, one cup at a time.
3. Mix in vanilla extract and enough milk until the frosting reaches a spreadable consistency.
4. Either use immediately or refrigerate until needed.

3. Assemble the Cake:
1. Place one cake layer on a serving plate.
2. Spread a layer of frosting on top.
3. Place the second cake layer over, then frost the top and sides of the cake with the remaining vanilla frosting.

4. Decorate:
1. Carefully place the edible Holy Bible decoration on top of the cake.
2. Melt caramel candies in a microwave-safe bowl in 15-20 second intervals until smooth.
3. Drizzle or place small caramel candies around the cake or on top as desired.
4. Optional: Dust the top with edible gold or add sprinkles for extra decoration.
